We're Back...!!!

Yes, we left Auckland, New Zealand last Sunday after the last America's Cup Race... it went to Alinghi, the Swiss Team over New Zealand, 5-0...!! A Redeye flight arriving Sunday at 10:00 Am in Los Angeles and a wonderful afternoon at Sheri's Mom's celebrating Cindy's birthday.... The "Big 5-0...!!

Sheri spent the week "bonding" with mom, Cindy and Daina... I headed back to the airport to catch the Sunday night Redeye to West Palm Beach, arriving at 10:30 AM for a long overdue visit with Dad and Irene. Dad is recovering from recent back surgery and an unpleasant cold. He was as excited to see me as I was to see him and Irene.

The day was filled with stories and smiles... that continued throughout the week. The "marathon" that followed can be credited to Lesley...It began early Saturday on both coasts...

At 4:00 AM, Lesley, Kim and Alec drove to Rose and Don's house to board a van to Boston's Logan Airport for a flight to Salt Lake City. It was a 5:40 AM flight for me from Florida to Salt Lake City... Sheri, Lora Lee, Olivia and Lindsey headed to LAX for their trip to Salt Lake City... the meeting place for all as we headed for Deer Valley for a week's reunion and of spring skiing.

What a week it has been...!!
